In June, the troop camped at the Llano River

In June, the troop camped at the Llano River.  30 scouts and 14 adult leaders enjoyed the campout.

In July, we had two groups of Troop members go to Philmont in New Mexico.  Click here for photos from Trek 1 (Aaron, Cody, and Alex).

 

In January, a Court of Honor was held for Joe Paulisson.  Click here for photos.

In July for our Summer Camp, the Troop spent one night at Balmorhea State Park and then a week at Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch.  A total of thirty-three Scouts and eight Adult leaders participated.  One of the highlights was visiting the McDonald Observatory for a "star party".  Click here for photos.

In April, the troop camped at Enchanted Rock State Park.  Click here for photos.

In February, we camped at the Bear Creek Freeze-o-ree.  Eight Troop members were inducted into OA (Order of the Arrow).  The Stags won second place in the camp cooking contest for their steak and baked potato feast (see photo of the happy judge below).  Click here for more photos.

The Troop camped out along the Llano River again in August.  The adults did all the cooking and cleaning, and David Ross entertained us on the guitar.  Click here for more photos.

The 2006 Summer Camp was  held on June 18-24 at Camp Sol Mayer.  33 Scouts attended, which was our largest group in many years.  The Trailblazers spent the night at Fort McKavettClick here to see photos!

The Spring Court of Honor was held on Wednesday, 03/29th.  Congratulations to all the troop members who advanced!

The Troop camped out at Enchanted rock during the weekend of March 24th and 25th.  A highlight was exploring the caves!   Click here for photos.

The Troop camped out at Pedernales Falls during the weekend of February 11th and 12th. Temperatures got down to a chilly 18 degrees.  Click here for photos.

On Sunday, January 29th, 12 scouts and 7 adult leaders participated in the annual Food Drive.  The Troopcollected canned goods and other items to donate  to the Food Bank downtown.

In late January, the Troop camped at Camp Sol Mayer for the annual Freezeoree.   Temperatures on Friday night dropped to below freezing (barely), so all campers are eligible for the Polar Bear Patch.   To see photos from this memorable weekend, click here.

Group Shot at Fort McKavett

On Saturday, December 3rd, troop members and their parents participated in the annual Mission to Mission organized bike ride.  The 17 mile ride along the scenic San Antonio River was a fund raiser for Christian Senior Services.  Troop members rode with the Velo Valero bike team and received team t-shirts for participating. A good time was had by all!

Also, congratulations to all the troop members who worked so hard to receive various badges and advancements in rank.
